The cacao tree is a small perennial plant called Theobroma Cacao, meaning "Food of the Gods," that grows in tropical climates, mainly in South America. The fruit was highly prized among the Mayan and Aztec peoples and was brought to Europe by the Spanish. These pre-Columbian peoples used cacao to produce a beverage that was a great source of energy.

Our raw cocoa beans come from the Criollo variety, often called the "King of Cocoa" due to the high quality of its beans. Therefore, our chocolate has superior nutritional value, being rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, polyphenols, amino acids, and minerals.

All the ingredients used in the making of our chocolate are 100% organically sourced, and the sugar used is unrefined, fair trade cane sugar.

Our chocolate is processed in an artisanal production unit. Our chocolate is shaped like a tablet, rounded on top and flat on the bottom, fitting perfectly between the tongue and the roof of the mouth, so that it can be enjoyed as it melts in the mouth, allowing you to feel and appreciate the true taste of chocolate.
